path has your career taken since your residency? Include military
service, private practice, academic career, teaching and research
accomplishments. I
have been in group practice following my residency completed in 1984 until
1998. Private practice in neurology -EMG,
musculoskeletal consults, inpatient and disability
consultation (1999-present) Residency Recollections We
are interested in anecdotes and experiences from your residency years.
Include interactions among fellow residents and teaching staff. I
have wonderful recollection of excellent teachers and good friends with the
teaching staff. Dr. Anderson, Mahowald, Looking
back, would you do it again? What would you change? Overall the
residency was excellent. A mixture of hard work, good
education and training, and many enjoyable times. Additional Thoughts Share
your thoughts regarding the changes in medicine since your residency. In
your opinion, is Neurology positioned well for the future? Neurology
has become much more specialized since residency training; I think the
Neurologist is least practiced for the future with a sub-specialty or niche
practice. |
